Skin Help

so ive been trying to import a dwarf skin, now it works on both the mk and the Muradin, now in WE when I import the skin correctly it works for the Muradin but not the mk when viewing in WE, but when I load the game to test it works on neither....what gives?

The path for MK is something like:
Textures/HeroMountainKing.blp

For muradin, its under replaceble textures and u might not be able to over ride it, i guess.

yea I used both of the correct paths, but the mk skin just wont change i duno y, and the muradin dont show correctly in game...im at a loss

When you import them change the paths then save the map (Before placing your units) then place your guys see if it works, if it doesnt show in editor test it... if it shows then if u DO want to view in editor you gotta close the map and open it again, but it will work in game and will fix next time you open it. If that didnt work you either got the path wrong or your skins an invalid file... If your using Wc3Viewer then you can convert .tga .bmp .jpeg to .blp using 'Convert Files > BMP, TGA, JPEG to BLP'

I did this for 2 of the skins in my map:

Of course the paths are for TheCaptain and DruidoftheTalon... but same concept

ty, i think i had the muradin path wrong, that skni works now, but i still cant get it to work for the mk...weird...o well atleast it is working now, ty for the quick help
