How do you attach skins?

In the import manager you have to overwrite the path and name of the skin you're trying to replace with the modified one.

1. Open your map
2. Go to the import manager
3. Import the .blp file
4. Double-click it in the import manager
5. Check "Use custom path"
6. Enter the path supplied with it (on the website or in the archive)
7. Click ok
8. Place the unit (any unit with the skinned model in this case) somewhere (or at least make sure you will be able to look at it closely)
9. Save your map
10. Test the game (ctrl + f9) and look at the unit. Does it look like you want it to? Then you've just imported your skin correctly!

Sometimes if you change the path when the unit isnt on the map, then save it will automatically just change the skin in the editor... Not sure if this works for everyone but it does for me usually. Sometimes it doesnt, sometimes only on certain units... But still takes the same amount of time if it didnt work then it wont work

Ok. Im trying to attach my skin, but its not working. I tryed what you said but its still not working. :banghead:

I did once before by accident, but I dont remember what I did

what path are you using, and what unit are you attaching it too?
