Modelpack Skins and Models - Lighting and Modern Objects

    There seems to be a problem going on at hiveworkshop.
    After being accused of stealing the textures for a third time (and showing proof once again) I have been accused of stealing the models.

    The same fucking models I spent dozens of hours working on, the same models in which I lost hundreds and had to remake them.

    After which, I learn that they will not let me keep the topic there for it, because it is a finalized pack, and I must submit it to the pack resource. I'd be fine with that if..

    If I didn't need to submit every fucking model with it's texture and picture, in order to get the pack submitted. The mods won't let me do that either.

    The resource size here is too small. So the project I spent well dozens of hours (probably more) has no home. Great.

    Maybe if you ask a mod, they may be able to help you host it here. Maybe...

    EDIT: I found I have 14 MB of free space here if you want me to upload it.

    Sure. But it's 6.8mb =/
    It could easily be reduced to 2.3mb, but I enjoy it having all the texture tga, readmes, and standalone mdx/blp.

    EDIT: Checked my storage, and I can upload around 9mb.
    Didn't realize extra rep gets extra space.

    EDIT2: They have a size limit here. :(

    It....LIVES! Pack submitted to clan site, tested here (logged off clan) and it seemed to work fine.

    Environment.rar

    I can't seem to find Environment.rar in the package :confused:, I even searched my computer with no results... am I supposed to download this from somewhere else or something?

    Whoups, just the enviroment folder than (Warcraft 3 Lighting and Modern-Objects Package\Warcraft 3 Lighting and Modern-Objects Package\Enviroment)
    Simply paste that enviroment folder into your wc3 home - restart wc3, set cusotm lighting to dungeon and presto.
    To go back, just delete the enviroment folder (Or read the instructions in the misc\defaults folder)

    EDIT: I re-read my own readme, and holy fuck. Was I high? I don't remember writing that last part. The red text did make that part worth it though..

    So does that mean this environment cannot be used for multiplayer maps? Since they will not have the Environment Folder in their Warcraft Folder?

    Enviroment is only for the World Editor - use the jass script "call SetDayNightModel(takes string day, takes string night returns nothing)" or whatever it is.

    For example..
    call SetDayNightModels("imported//DayModel.mdl","Imported//Footman.mdx")

    I probably did that wrong, but it's the general idea. Whatever you choose as the model is what will appear in the middle of the screen (only appears on local screen, doesn't effect others)

    Okay I don't know JASS so I only barely understand that, but I was thinking if I simply imported the files inside that folder to the same path

    Environment\DNC\DNCDungeon\DNCDungeonTerrain\DNCDungeonTerrain.mdx
    Environment\DNC\DNCDungeon\DNCDungeonUnit\DNCDungeonUnit.mdx

    and set the custom lighting environment to Dungeon would that work?

    A simplier method would simply be setting it to nothing ("")
    call SetDayNightModels("","") for example, would result in pitch blackness. However, your method also should also work.

    test it out yourself though.

    Could someone upload the rar here You may have to split it up into 3 packs (winrar option)? I thought I had uploaded the pack to this site, but appears I haven't. When I cleaned my desktop, guess what went with it? =[

    EDIT: For some reason it's in my porn folder.
    Right next to the acehart folder.
    Below the romek folder..Damn that guy is good.
    Anyway, I'll have the pack up in a bit. Have to split it up into a section of 3..

    EDIT2: ABANDONE SHIP ABANDONE SHIP GO TO PLAN C
    Plan C, of course is to once again ask for someone to split up the rar they downloaded. Why? Turns out the version I have is missing a lot of stuff.
    Namely all of it - the folder was on an external, and for some reason half the folders on my external harddrive don't have any content. Go me.


    So, I'd really appreciate it if someone uploaded the file somewhere, as so I can download it and upload it here. Thanks!

    EDIT3: God damnit, I really need to quit updating this. For whatever reason, the website just switched the download link.

    EDIT4: The upload limit per file here is a real pain in the ass. I'm going to do some work with the map tomorrow - adjust the map, mostly so I can upload the file in 2 parts.
    Why the fuck don't you allow .rars?

    Well, the horse strapon subfolder is the biggest, totalling 3.2 gigs (47 files) (pun intended)
    Romek subfolder is I think the 5th, with 1.4gigs (11 files)

    A small update: I'm doing a short single-player map using this package, and updating some of the lights so that
    A: Selection Grabber part is thought out. Instead of a pyramid, it is a flat plan set at a high height above the light. At the same time, it only appears when looking up at it, rather than down. This makes it so you won't see it ingame, yet you can still select it in the world editor.

    B: Lights stronger. I updated white+yellow so they are 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100. This has made them considerably stronger.

    C: I offset the lights-height a bit, so they are above the ground when initially placed.


    Another thing I noticed is that I forgot to place the objects from Batch 2.0 and 2.5 in the editor - many objects are in the User-list props, but not placed down on the map.
