Skip the messages

I want to skip the text messages of conversations whit the pression of ESC button!
It's possible?

Im not sure, but it depends if ure map is multiplayer, or single player.

Skipping cinematics is certainly possible.

However, if, for example, in a rather longish cinematics, you create some units,
and the player skips it, you might end up with some missing units.

Or, in other words, this requires some careful planning


That said:

SkipCinematics
    Events
        Player - Player 1 (Red) skips a cinematic sequence
    Conditions
    Actions
        Trigger - Turn off (This trigger)
        Set SkipThis = True

Notes:
- this trigger is initially off
- SkipThis is a variable of type "boolean"


In your cinematics trigger, add, near the beginning:

Actions
    Set SkipThis = False
    Trigger - Turn on SkipCinematics <gen>

Then, in your cinematics trigger, in places where you think it's safe to abort, add some:

Actions
    If (SkipThis Equal to True) then do (Skip remaining actions) else do (Do nothing)
