In one TD, I want to incorporate a building, say it's called the "Casino", that, when the builder is close, he can select an ability at the building called "Play Slots" or something. He chooses one of three increments of gold and the gold is deducted from his amount. Then, I want the building to somehow generate three random numbers from 1-9, and confer to the player what was generated, in the exact order. The player then gets that amount of gold (say a 6,1, and 2 were rolled, that amount of gold would be 612) added to his/her current amount. The betting increments would be 100 (in which your roll is divided by three), 300 (in which your roll is divided by 2), and 500 (in which your roll is divided by 1, which means you get the full amount).
It's really complicated, I understand, and I want to have more of a discussion on how to make it, and work on smaller parts to add it up into one larger piece. If we can find any parts of it impossible, we could modify the original design, or abandon it (if it's completely impractical).
I think working on just a single-player TD would be a good start, then manipulating it for multiple-players later on. I'll get to working on possibile pieces to it right now.
