ok well this is wat happens when i try copying or installing warcraft3 my driver does something worng and the computer just crashes and restart then it says the system has just recovered from a serious error. Blizzard tech support belives it's my cd burner that is causing this but I have no idea why it's causing this problem.

This may or may not apply, but it's worth mentioning.

WarCraft 3 copy protection has some issues with certain CD Writers.

I don't remember for the life of me where I read that. It was either here, or on the battle.net forums a while back.

Do you have a non-CD burner drive you can try?

Edit: I assume you are installing/copying from the cd burner in question, correct?

yes i have a non cd burner but it's not on my computer because my computer is still in warranty.

Certain CD Burners simply don't like Blizzard protected CDs such as Warcraft III or Diablo II. I doubt there is much you can do about it, sorry. Your best bet would be getting a regular CD-Rom drive for your computer.

Do you know which file it is trying to copy when your computer crashes ? If so, try copying that file directly from the Warcraft III CD to the Warcraft III folder on your hard-disk before installation.
