OK... so before i begin i would like to get all of the bs out of the way ... this is my second forum thread on any site anywhere ... i know i have poor grammar and probably poor spelling ... if you wanna harp about it plz go somewhere else :cool:
That said ... i am new to forums so i plan to post multiple threads with "So I'm New and I need help with:" as the starting line ... that way if you need to reference other threads of mine in order to help me or maybe once I've gained some experience for me to help you they should be easy to navigate.
So since the only thing i know how to do is post and respond to a thread so far... i would very much like it if someone would or could help me out with navigating through this site to find things i need ... especially with things for specific topics
EXAMPLE: if i need to find something about triggers in warcraft 3 maps what would be the best way to go about doing it and which threads would be most useful and how would i get to them? :D

although that was an example it is also something i need so if anyone would like to post on my "very first post on any site ever" titled So I'm New and I need help with: Warcraft 3 map making it would be greatly appreciated ... but ya stuff i need is pretty much best way to navigate this site to get info that is helpful and any help that people are willing to post to help me with any other thread (once i gain more experience and am able to help others I will do so ... but as of now please forgive me for not being of much to this forum:confused:)

Hey there, welcome to our small community :)

Navigating the size is pretty easy all-in-all.

To your left you have a nagivation bar. It lists all sub-forums we have here.
There you'll also find the World Editor Help subforum where you can post things related to Warcraft III's editor, or the Warcraft subforum for everything Warcraft.

When you're inside a subforum it often is a good idea to first search for topics similar to your problem.
For example, if I wanted to look for information regarding the locust ability on units I would start a search. As a result I'd get a list of all topics where my search term appeared.

That's a good way of finding a solution to your problem without having to wait for someone to answer it ;)

If you can't find what you were looking for, or if your problem is more specific then there's nothing stopping you from making a new post ;)

I guess that's the most important things if you want to find help.

Oh yes .. Beware of FireCat. He prefers to stay on the ... irrational side of arguments :D

And if you ever find yourself in dire need of a used steel pipe (for example to punish a certain cat) look no more :D

really appreciate the help with this post :) ... and i get your point accname but i set my first few posts to that because the kind of people that would go out of their way to help someone who is CLEARLY new are the kind of people i prefer to deal with ... although in the future i plan to have something to clearly identify my posts anyway just so its easier to get help and possibly easier to help others :D

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
