Some help with the Objectmerger

Hey,

I read a tutorial about the object merger and saw that you can change values of a unit during game say I want to add 2 armor or whatever. I understood that this would go for every unit of that type, but now say I want to only change it for 1 unit. Ex.

I have a Unit A and a Unit B they are both of the same unit type.
Now I want to add 2 armor to Unit A using the objectmerger or another method (note that I don't want the green number I want the normal value)

How can I do it? I know it's possible just don't know how:p

Ps: It can also be damage instead of armor does not really matter for now.
Ps2: I think it's doable with the objectmerger can't think of any other way so not sure:p

Thanks!

The object merger can not be run off during the game, it's a low level tool.

I don't think you can modify armor without the green text showing up, but I could be wrong.

You can modify armor with upgrades (but will apply to all units). You can also modify armor with agility (heroes only).

You can also modify armor with abilities, but that'll show the green bonus text.

It's impossible to do it with ObjectMerger as that is used for *object generation* and *editing*. It's like going into the Object Editor and changing things w/ code rather than with the UI.

Aaah ok well I got the idea from YouTD maybe some of you know it, as in there you can change the basedmg (the whitetekst) of a tower with items or oils (which are kinda like potions that increase base dmg for example).
So this is how I know it's possible.
Btw isn't there something like a tome of dmg that increases the base damage of a unit (if there is I might be able to generate the item with object merger and edit it every time I need to or something like it)

A custom combat system would work.

I believe YouTD did it with researches, but that's my speculation.

There is a tome that increases the damage of a unit. It increases the base damage, so it won't show up the green +bonus text.

Do you know the name of the tome as I can't find it.
@Risen
If YouTD did it with research it would apply for all units of a type and it does not do that you can have 100 towers of the same unit type and still they can have diffrent base dmg.

Edit:
Ok I found the ability (it's an active ability) that increases base damage now how can I efficiently apply it to a unit?
It shouldn't matter how much damage I want to increase it can go from 1 to 10000. Is there a way without creating the objects? Can I change the abilitie's value during gameplay?

it's Item Permanent Damage Gain (AIaa)

I have to note you that: this damage gain does NOT work on illusion.
Say you have a unit with damage: 10 - 20 and get 50 damage gain (from the above ability) so its damage is now 60 - 70 BUT its illusion will only have 10 - 20

Healt/mana etc.. bonus is passive you add it and you get the bonus the normal damage bonus (the white text) is an active ability and then the bonus is added.

I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
