sound is fast and high pitched

i installed battlefield 1942 multiplayer demo

the problem with the sound is that the contrast of the sound is speeded up, i get sounds that play really fast and high pitched, i tried adjusting sound options but it doesnt help.

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
