I'm wondering about hooking up my old CRT monitor and speakers to my xbox360. I have an adapter that lets me use it on a VGA port but it still has composite audio (Red and White cables).
It came with an adapter to make it the standard headphone jack (2.5mm), but I don't plan to use this xbox with a computer.
I can't find any female-female adapters so that I can plug them both in, but I could make my own easily.
I just wonder if this will work. In theory the Xbox360 creates the output and the speakers are the input, but usually the computer handles that. Would this work by just connecting the cables?
Has anyone tried this before?
