specific cinematic question

ok im making a map called "cry of the sahdowsng" the name is based off the "cry of the warsong" from the orc campaign in roc and im making cinematics and i was wondering...how can i make the units say specific words during a cinematic? i loooked in sound editor but ididnt see anything on it? i havent THOROUGHLY looked through it cuz im kinda lazy im just asking in advanced lol so is there a way for example a orc sais "hi my name is billy bob"(for example) is there a way to make a sound of an orc saying that?

You can use sounds from the game.
Sound Editor, find it, "use as sound".

You can import sounds too,
with the "Import Manager".
Go for "mp3" if you do, keeps the map size down.

Then "Cinematics - Transmission from unit", add your sound to "Play sound".


I would like to add though that no Orc parents worth the name will
ever, ever, call their child "Billy"


There are tools out there that can do just about anything with recorded wave sounds.
Now, making it actually sound "Orc"...
hm, well, you wouldn't have some orc or other as close friend, would you?

lol ok but i think u didnt get what iwas saying, sorry that was my fault. i know how to add text but the actual sound i wanna knowhow to make that i nknow how to make some1 say like a normal grunt sound. I wanna make an orc say "destroy them all!"
and it doesnt say that u can make custom sounds (not that ive seen) on there but it has a lsit of the messages in the campaign. sorry if it doesnt make since lol its hard to explain (for me anyways )

First of all, you need a sound recorder, a simple application to record sounds. Search for it on the internet.

Next, you need a suitable voice, which you most probably have not. This link, however, might solve this problem: http://www.audiogodz.com

Then, import the sound files into your map by using the Import Manager.

There are people on WC3Campaigns that do voices for people.

I see adds for hire all the time.
