Speed limit?

I want a transport ship to move veeeery fast so i entered the object manager and change the base speed, but it wont go higher than 522! (from 360) Is there a speed limit? Is there any other way to change a units speed?

Yes there is a speed limit, I'm not sure how high it is, but I thought it was somewhere near 700. You can get the speed up some more by altering the gameplay constants.

I cant get any maximum speed limits over 522....is there nothing else to do about it?

1. Give it blink
2. Use mem's sliding tutorial to make it slide to the target point (see the tutorials forum here)

Terrain Editor > Advanced > Game Constants > Movement - Maximum speed (Or something like that)

As a workaround, setting a projectile to the boat model could work, if the effect that you're trying to achieve is graphical only.

i usaly use
Unit - Move (Triggering unit) instantly to ((Position of (Triggering unit)) offset by 150.00 towards (Facing of (Triggering unit)) degrees)

Ive change the gameplay constants but it wont go over 512. The entire thing is a cinematic so cant use move instantly....how do i make it a projectile? Can i lock camera to a projectile?
