spell help

How do you make non unit attacking spells unit attacking? e.x earthquake. I already tried "TARGETS ALLOWED" in stats and changed it to units. Help?!

its very simple. when you are editing a unit, go to the combat section, and go to attack 1 or attack 2 (whichever you want to have the spell attack.) and double click projectile art. once the window has popped up, go to the small toolbar at teh top taht says: units, or units - missles, or something along the lines of that, click it, and select abilities, from there, you will see the arts of all the abilities, select which one you want. and thats it, when your custom unit attacks, it should look like what you selected.
 
I dont want a unit to attack with an earthquake. Mabe i explained it poorly. ok, a hero has a custom spell named earthquake. AS u know, in the campaign it only damages buldings. Now, how do i make the quake damage units as well as buildings? I already tried "TARGETS ALLOWED" in stats and changed it to units.
 
like in dota? the sand kings ulti? if yes then try settting the TARGETS ALLOWED to units as well.
 
already tried it, it doesn't work, it just slows the units. oh wait! mabe i have to change one of the buffs, effects to do raw damage?
 
im not exactly sure, but i think the sand kings ultimate is actually a variation of war stomp, with a few triggers to go along with it, a simple casting time and there you go, also replacing the buff of stunned to slowed
 
Maybe you should try basing it off another spell. Your spell seems to be an AoE DOT, so base it off another AoE DOT. Maybe Flamestrike, or Blizzard. Then change the graphics to Earthquake, add in the ground-shaking, and you're done!

Yes that's the way you want to do it, because the original Earthquake was not made to do any damage.

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
