Hello all i need help with roar spell...i need spell in gui

Spell:

Add to hero 20 demage and deal 20 demage to closest unit (enemy unit) on 100 range front of my hero...if no one is there on 100 range hero misses.

      • a unit starts the effect of an ability
    • condition
      • ability being cast equal to Roar
    • action
      • set unit[0] = triggering unit
      • set point = position of triggering unit
      • set unit[1] = closest enemy unit within 100 range of unit[0] matching (matching unit is an ally of (owner of(unit[0]) equal to false))
      • order unit[0] to deal 20 damage to unit[1]


something like that mate!
i hate when i don't have WE on the comp...

Well, why not make it an AoE ability? Would be quite nice.
Trigger:
  • Trigger
    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Roar
    • Actions
      • Set Temp_Point = (Position of (Casting unit))
      • Unit - Create 1 Dummy for (Owner of (Casting unit)) at Temp_Point facing Default building facing degrees
      • Unit - Move (Last created unit) instantly to Temp_Point
      • Unit - Add Clap to (Last created unit)
      • Unit - Order (Last created unit) to Human Mountain King - Thunder Clap
      • Unit - Add a 0.50 second Water Elemental expiration timer to (Last created unit)
      • Custom script: call RemoveLocation(udg_Temp_Point)

Temp_Point - Point Variable
Clap - Thunder Clap ability with 100 range and effect lasting set to 0.01 seconds
Roar - your Battle Roar spell that will add 20 damage

In front of the target should be made with a Shockwave spell and to be casted at where the hero is facing. Can't be arsed to do that right now.

make sure the dummy unit being created has the thunder clap ability with 20 damage and 100 range, and 0 mana cost!

The dummy is a basic unit with both attacks disabled, has the Locust ability, its food cost set to 0, and its model set to none.mdl. Also remove all of its shadows.

just copy a peasant, paste it, and do what ludnica said...make it's mana/hp high, give it the locust/invunerability... ur all set!

Heh, ye, but Invulnerability is not needed. Locust makes the unit Invulnerable and can't be targeted, so the Max HP and Mana are not needed too.

None.mdl makes the unit unselectable so both invuln and locust work.

the only reason why i put max mana and max hp is because i might forget to make the mana 0 for an ability that dummy might use...
