Spellbook

Is it possible (well i know it is), to make a single icon on the heroe's interface thats like a 'spellbook', then when clicked opens up an arsenal of spells. i have seen this done on DD6 and Troll tribes, so i know its all too possible. Thanks in advance if you can help, if you cant thanks for looking at my thread.

Should be easy enough i guess.

Damn sargon, your posts are so pointless.

Go to the Ability Editor and search (Ctrl+F) fro Spell Book. Make a custom ability from this. Find the field that says 'Data - Maximum Spells' and set it to the maximum number of spells you want your book to have, which in your case I think would be 12. Find the field 'Data - Minimum Spells.' This field is for the minimum number of spells in the book. The next field to look for is 'Data - Spell List.' This is the list of spells the book will have. Add to it or remove from it as you see fit. If you have any other questions regarding this don't hesitate to ask.

When I write my posts, I generally assume that the person asking the question can figure out stuff for themselves. For instance, I figure that this guy knows how to look at the data fields of an ability and figure out what they do from their names. I also assume he can find the ability. Therefore, I don't see the point in posting a whole damn walkthrough unless the guy doesn't seem likely to be able to figure it out. metallic_boy has been around for a bit, and I figure that he can figure out the ability based on the very clear field names (I don't think he has to be told what "minimum spells" means).
