Totally agree but you know - there are around 20 spells...
I think it's possible to make something like QWERTY casting but it would require around 100 new spells. I'm going to have a lot of free time soon (2 months lol) so I'm gonna try to do it...

About the balancing I'll talk to Bloody since he's best at that part.

AddBot still has some bugs which I can't seem to understand why they happen (like AIs doing nothing other than just wandering around). For now it's best to start games with preset computers and using AI only at the start before the 30 seconds mark. :| These bugs seem to occur when adding bots after 30 seconds mark or after a rematch.

WTF. Terrain is from forest to some empty Dalaran place?
Gameplay still remains the same actually.

So, there is nothing that new about this. except terrain =/ and 2-times cast bug gone.

Well since blizzard butchured Jass this version works for all wc3 patches.

Also the terrain is meant to be empty, more place to manouver.


Yes, the game play is rather unchanged. You know, every map has life into it. I am sad to let this go, but it is time to make something better. And, it wouldn't have ended like this if Blizzard didn't fail. :) (Note: There is no place for hotkeys of spells. People with laptops don't have numpads and I don't want to be called a discriminator so... )

Since Bloody and I started working on something new, this project is going to be ended. Expect just a balanced next version with the bug fix - stable and pretty much finished.

Tyrande, you must agree that mapping pays off, while... oh forget it, I am not the type of an ass...

Well, perhaps there will be some small updates in the future. At this point our effords are going into something different then Spirit Wars, but I am not the type of an ass that will forget his projects. As long as there is a suficient ammount of feedback/bugs/downloads I don't see why we shouldn't make small balancing and mode adding updates.

When I add abilities by triggers to a unit I often get spikes. Your item->ability system is very smooth in that way.

You have to preload your abilities :)
Otherwise, the first time the ability comes into the game, you'll get a spike.

Yes, what Zack said..... also, everything is in Jass/vJass....

BlackRose, pretty much, yes, but this will get small updates too... you see the problem is that we have as much spells as we have hotkeys. I wanted to make it by another way, but with the limitations of Jass, it would r equire to have arround 100 if/then/else actions for each spell....

Not sure about doing -tm2 from the start, but if you do a regular match (default settings), then do rematch, and -tm2 the computers start wandering around. Also notice that the teams' damage is totalled on the first player in the group, but it still has a multiboard displaying everyone's name and 0 kills, 0 deaths, 0 damage.

Also atm blade toss is e and impale is t, why not switch them around o_O Actually has the letters in it :)

Edit: Played a 2nd rematch.. seems that buggers with the computer AI. It's FFA and they're still just wandering around back and forth :eek:

Yes, that's the bug that's going to be fixed next version. I already found how it happens (stated previous page):

It was me and the rest computers, did a normal deathmatch, then changed to -tm2, and the damages started doing that (all of them had 0 except the first computer on their team, and same for my team, whereas I had all the damage)

Sorry didn't take SS, and CNR. However I did encounter a different one ;[ I bought the meteor spell thing, but it didn't add spell ( i have SS if you want).

I can't seem to reproduce the bug with the wrong damage displaying ... Any chance you could set the same scenario and see if it appears again?

okay there's the screen shot attached to post. I tried once to replicate the bug but the AI started wandering around so no damage was dealt on the rematch at all :[ I'll keep trying until I get a result one way or the other ^^

Snif snif. Pretty cool but i think i have athuritus know. And why dont you make the players have random heroes at the start and not the same modle every time

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
