Star Craft sound problem

i recently changed to a 5.1 speakers and got his problem of the units' sound all coming out & jumbled together when a lot of units are attacking . previously with my old 2.1 speakers i don't have this problem. anyone have any solutions. thx in advance
 
Have you specified the type of speakers you are using ?

Go to Start Menu, Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices.

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
