Star Wars RPG, Wanna Help?

STAR WARS RPG

Hi all,
I aint been here or on the World Editor on in a while until very recently.
Anyway was thinking of getting back in and starting off again with a Star Wars map. I' still planning although i've already got about 10 or so models.
It's gonna be an RPG with a (probably) made up story. I think it'll be based around Darth Vader (you would be him) or a two part Story where you'd be both good and evil (so you like sorta alternate between the two teams and then there's a build up until they both meet and have a big battle.

So, If you're interested all help would be appreciated, anything from ideas to a terrainer.
Another main part I need are models or tilesets (links would be great also).
Olofmoleman (modeller) makes great Star Wars models and think he makes about 1 every week or two so he'll be my main source of models.

Help would be great...

Sounds like a cool idea.. Im just wondering about something.. the buildings.. how are they gonna look? death star as main base? i think its gonna be cool.. however.. whats the name for map gonna be?

Hmm, yeah as I said all is still kinda in planning.
(I just visited the model site and 3 new models up. They are: Naboo Starfighter, Bantha with Rider and Diplocaulus, and also like 6 different coloured lightsabers which you can attach to units).

As for building and stuff, I was thinking; since there are no real buildings and stuff I may set it in some easy like Tatooine (desert) or Kashyyk (forest, sorry 'bout spelling for that one).

Anyway i'll keep browsing round to see if there are any buildings. I know there's a level on SW: Battlefront where it would be easy to make in WE because its not futuristic at
all.
Keep you ideas coming guys, and just PM me if ya wanna help.

P.S If I did Kashyyk i'd probably need a Wookie Model so if there's any modellers/skinners out there, and could make a one, that be so good.

EDIT: And also the name is yet; undecided.

If you did it on Tantoonie, you'll of course have a renamed Forgotten One in a pit and call it a Sarlacc Pit

Btw, in Kashyyk, the actual wookies live high up in the canopies; in the dark ground level, there are tons of monsters -_- of course, that would go well with what you want

You could have different worlds in each of the four corners/sides, and then get a custom starfield tileset and put it in the center to 'connect' all four worlds

Yeah I was thinking of doing that (putting each world in different corner) but I think I'd find it easier having one world on one map each.
They'd all link together so once you complete one you would have to wait for me to finish the next to carry on the story.
The other thing I was thinking (probably won't happen) it could be a cinematic, but that'd take to long i think. (Oh but there will be cinematics in it).

Anyway, keep your ideas posted I need them.
And as I said, if you're a modeller or know someone who could make a building or two that would be sooo great.

Lol, yeah, you guessed it Single Player (AT THE MOMENT!).
I guess i never really thought of doing a multiplayer one, hmm... posibilities...
I might make a multiplayer one after this. Well, i'm off to start the intro movie.
If I finish it today i'll post it up...

EDIT: Oh and it would be really, really good if someone has/could find a star wars text. Just the normal looking style or even the scrolling type .

Ok so the Intro's underway. But what I need is a name! Got any ideas? Post 'em up.
EDIT: Music too... If ya got a DVD of any of the Star Wars Movies I'm sure you can grab some of the sounds off them.

WOW Thanks soo much dude. That will be very handy. Hopefully they work on Mac casue i'm using it at the moment (but I do have a PC also).
More Stuff like that would be great.

Picture & Name

Well, couldn't get the font to work on my site though I think I can by making it an image file and then... you know the rest I guess.

Anyway, I've made this Picture, it will probably be my loading screen image (although I might get a different one for each different map).
I need your thoughts. Personally I think it's pretty cool.

It's also got the name: Vaders Wrath (could be Darth Vaders Wrath) I'm still not sure on the name but the story is something like this: Darth Vader builds an army and trys to wipe out the republic and the jedi.

Come On...

Come on guys, need your opinion on the picture.
(I already knew this from the start) But the Jedi in the Picture is Darth Malak (as some of you may know from the KOTOR series). But what I wanted to know was, do you still think I should keep that picture or change it.
If you know of some good pics (with preferably Darth Vader in it) please post the link or the picture itself.
