The newly released Star Wars is a pretty cool game I must say. I've played with a Sith Inquisitor 'till lvl 38 where I stopped for various reasons.
After 3 years of WoW gameplay I think this game is a very good rival, because it has almost all the elements of WoW except the smoothness that Blizzard had 8 years to accomplish. I personally think this game will end up to become the first legit rival of WoW in about 2 years or so of adding content and tweaking game play.
What I like the most about SWTOR is the detailed questing campaign they've designed. There are a total of 4 playable classes, and each class has a completely different story lines, but the beauty of it all is that it takes every class to the same areas!
I personally think that they've completely changed the online questing experience with the Dark Side/ Light Side choices and Companion favoritism. A questing system basically copied from Mass Effect by BioWare gives it a single-player game questing feel with a MMO edge to it where you can bring party members into it.
There are many aspects to this game that are still very flawed, but it has barely been released and I think they've released it pretty well!
Don't agree with me? I'd very much like input from players/enthusiasts! This game is like no other and can be discussed in length in most aspects.
