Now that everyone is talking about playing StarCraft I again and soon StarCraft II I'm wonder who thinks what race is better
Protoss, Terran, or Zerg races

Please Vote your favorite Race
and leave a comment why you picked that race

They've already said there will only be the 3.

Anyways, the thread title is retarded. By "best" you meant "favorite". The presentation at the WWI was mostly to showcase the Protoss, so not enough is known about either of the other races to really comment on who is best.

Nonsense. Take WoW for example - if you forget about all the controversy, "blizz sucks" comments and similar, blood elves and draenei fit right in.

Balancing races in WoW is quite different than balancing different races in an RTS

Guys, Blizzard did say "playable races", which means the three main ones with campaigns. Races like the Naga, Dranaei, Blood Elves, etc. from WC3 are not the playable races, so there's still a chance that we might get to see some Xel'Naga or that other race which was hinted at in the secret level of Brood War about which I will not disclose the nature of in case people haven't played through SC1 yet.

I go Protoss because of mind control, and in single player it's fun to trick them comuters into giving them all of the classes

Zerg is my true favorite though.

I mind control those little zergling workers and make my own hive!! Even though I'm protoss..

Most people will say protoss because all they show is protoss, since they are the most visually stimulating.

Terran will be second, cause they showed them the second-most.

Protoss was the best and always will be.

lol mass zlot rushes were fun on the maps with a ton of gold. and dragoon rushes, and mass invisible carriers (Invisible with the help of reavers) Plus on the cannon situation the Toss cannons can shoot land and air, while the zerg would have to build a seperate one for air and ground.

Protoss in my opinion is the coolest race, but for winning, I'd pick Zerg.

Zergling mass is so fun.
