Starcraft error 126

Hi guys! I could use some help here..

If always played starcraft, and love it. But now i've a new computer and new OS (XP-prof) i can't seem to play SC anymore.

The problem occurs when i install the game. At the end of the file copying procedure i get a

"Unable to create link to E:\help\star.htm as c:\documents and settings\all users\menu\start\programs\starcraft\starcraft help.nk
Installation aborted
Error 126 : can't find module at linkundo.cpp line 165"

Is this problem because of XP or my new hardware ? Plz help me..
im desperately wanna play on b.net...

Don't know much about XP but if its like Windows 2000 you need to be logged in as the administrator. The error is occuring trying to add a link on your desktop to the StarEdit help stuff it looks like and it appears the game does not have the right permission to do so.
 
got it fixed.
Wasn't too hard, my dvd-rom wasn't acting really spectacular that day.. installed new drivers. Worked like a charm :P

Im SCing like never before hehe on a Athlon 1700+ with Gf3.. somehting isn't right here ;)

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.

    Real users can't really disable Javascript anymore these days.
