ok i have looked high and low for the solution to my issue. Which is basicly this, I used to play Warcraft 2 A lot in california i was into the story about it and what not but i sort of drifted from it and am now living in Ohio where i didnt have any computer savy friends. But i now have a friend , Spam (long story), who has showed me the wonder known as starcraft broodwar. Well his two brothers , Matt and Ben, are as well "starcrafters" so my buddy spam and i would LAN, I on his computer and him on his brothers, well long story short i finaly got off my butt and got starcraft, broodwar, battlenet and all that jazz. BUT apon installing and what not i discovered when it came to playing the game every thing was like SUPER DARK as in the ground which was suppose to be a neutral grey was a black i couldnt differenciat between the areas of which i have explored or not. I then discovered that the problem was the same apon re-installing warcraft 2 way to dark the ground that was suppose to be a rich green was a dark black ( if black can be darker than well black ) i have tryed adjusting the brightness and contrast of my moniter its self they are both all the way up then i went through the "adobe gamma" settings on my controll panel and adjusted every thing to "normal" conditions restarted then try the game and the same issue would be aparent. then i thought, as a simply solution, i would simply adjust the "gamma" settings for my PC like SUPER BRIGHT hope-ing to counter act the darkness but to no avail im at my wits end with this im hoping that some one can help me i apologize for the mispellings and all that rot but im not quite all here at the moment um i consider my self to at lease comprehend what a computer does and how it works but much beyond the fact that im runing windows 98 i dont know im sorry awaiting much needed help
