Starting rpg, need help

I was starting an rpg but it stated out crappy. So now I am making a new one and I need some people who can help since im not that good, I really want to have a good rpg that everyone will want to play over and over.

I have already started, here is what I would like it to be about but if I can get some help we can change it around...

Ok, you start off as a child in a small but pretty well guarded town, and as you grow up you get to choose what you would like to be (Archer, Swordsman or Mage). and you can also have a side ocupation (Blacksmith, Carpanter and something else). And you go around leveling up and saving other towns and you also have quests. This is a 6 player map and you all have seperate quests, so you start off knowing eachother but then you split up.

I MIGHT also have things like saving your charactor and stuff.

So can people help or no?

could you tell me what unit i should use as the swordsman? I need a human cause you start out as a child, he needs to be a hero... or maybe if you choose swordsman you get changed by magic??

Sorry for quoting that from a PM but i just need it so people can also suggest about it.

For the swordsman you could probrably use Arthas, or if you dont want hero glow the footman will work fine, Or you can go to www.wc3sear.ch and download one of the hero glow models (Type it in and search in model section) then just do what the readme says for hero glow.
As for starting out as a child... ehh dont do that maybe for a cinematic but start out at least as a teen (Child has no attack animation unless u wanna pick flowers for exp...)

Hm.. yeah ...but he could start as a child... after a few game days he is teen one-2 more game days and he adult ... at child he hunt frogs and stuff... teen goes hunting for small animals and at adult he goes saving the world... (just an idea)
