(still) problem with button

    hmm, I asume that it requires the use of dialogs, you will have to have a dialog image that uses that image and have the desciption set to that.

    I'm not sure that you can do it any other way. Also you would need to have them shown and hidden every time you select and deselects the units.

    but if I go to the damage-effect I can set an 'effect-icon', is there something possible here perhaps?

    Can't you just make different buttons for all variations and them as a passive to the unit's command card?

    That's exactly what I did now, but the command-card is the wrong location for the info, if you want info about the weapon, you go to the damage-icon and not to the command card

    I can also just create the normal damage-icon but there are to much complicated numbers in here, and a lot unnessesary informations

    Uhm? You mean the Weapon "UI: Icon"?

    You might be able to change the "UI: Tooltip" under the weapon. I havent tested it, by try it out.

    yes but the button in the command-card is a 'button' and is not in the UI: Icon list

    But I'm not sure, there must be a way to solve this?

    Besides, do you know 'Elemental Tower Defense'?
    Here is it also working fine if you hover your mouse button over the UI: Icon

    I know it's a button, but it's a passive button right?
    Well, I'm pretty sure that the way he did it in Elemental Tower Defense is by renaming all the "Attributes" and changing all the damage effects "Attribute Factor".

    By changing that, it will show the amount of damage, not the %.

    3 things:

    1. in elemental defence you don't see 'armored' 'biological' and 'heroic' but 'earth' 'water' 'fire'
    2. I don't have air and ground targets, just GROUND all, so I don't need the targets info
    3. I want also hide the weapon speed, because it's shown wrong, the tower shoots faster, the number should increase, it's really confusing

    Yeah, heroic is also custom... you can change this.
    The targets can be changed.
    I'm not sure you show the right thing if it shows the speed wrong.

    well, weapon speed 2 should be faster than weapon speed 1 because it shoots 2x a second and not 0.5 x... (got ya)

    No, weapon speed is the time between each attack - it's the cooldown.

    yes so weapon speed 2 is a higher number...

    Weapon speed is not the amount of attacks per second, it's the amount of time between each shot.

    So a weapon with a weapon speed of 1.25 is faster than a weapon with a weapon speed of 2.
    Check it out yourself.

    yes but they should make weapon speed 10 very fast because it's 10! (last responce now)

    That would require you to reqrite the entire system. And I think you are refering this to something else. Wc3 and SC2 have always had weapon speed as the time between attacks :)
