Hello, I am new to the forum, tried searching but there are so many results that I didn't find what I searched.
However this is my question.
I want to make a spell that will ministun 2 targets and also Replace Casting unit with the target of the spell.
The target can be either enemy or Ally, Non hero, non Ancient.
Info about the spells.
The spell is based on stormbolt, and available targets are ground, non-hero, non-ancient
This is the trigger.
//Event//
Unit - Starts the effect of the ability
//Condition//
Ability being cast equal to COPY
//Action//
Set X = Casting unit
Set y = target unit of ability being cast
Unit - Create 1 dummy for owner of Y at position of Y facing .....
Unit - Add 1 second generic expiration timer to last created unit
Unit - Add Copy[dummy] to last created unit
Unit - order last created unit to [human...] Storm bolt X

Now i tried both Create unit, and replace unit. but nothing worked

Unit - Create 1 (Unit-type of (Target unit of ability being cast)) for Player 1 (Red) at (Center of (Playable map area)) facing Default building facing degrees
//////////////////// It doesnt matter for what player the unit is created, or where I just did it for testing purposes.
And when I run the game this is what happens.
The first target (X) will cast Stormbolt and will damage and stun the other unit,
If I use Create unit command, nothing happens, If I use Replace command - Unit 1 (x) will Disappear.
Can anyone help me to this.??!
I think the problem is
Target unit of ability being cast
I think "Target unit of ability being cast" is the target of an ability, in this case Y.
If this is not the correct trigger. How Can I save both units. e.g Set x and also Set Y.
I want to do more experiments with the units later.
But i'm not sure..
