Tcp/Ip games

I recently got a new diablo 2 mod and want to play on tcp/ip with my friends. The only problem is that whenever any of us try to host a game we get "failed to join game" (the activity light on my modem dosn't even blink). I've uninstalled and reinstalled and tried without the mod and I still can't host games....I can't even make my own games in open, tho I can join games on open. I don't have a router or a firewall on my computer, and my windows firewall is disabled

I used a port scanner and it told me all of my ports are "Stelth" and that if im not using a firewall or router then they might be blocked by your isp, but my friend uses the same isp and can host TCP/IP games, now im going crazy :banghead:

Edit Edit: Ok, My friend can now host TCP/IP game....and I can join. I still don't see why I can join open and TCP/IP games but can't host them, now I am going crazy for sure :banghead: :banghead:

To my experience, older versions of windows firewall can be screwy and still continue to function even though you have "disabled" it. You should try to configure it such that it works instead of outright disabling it and see if that helps.

The fact that you are stealthing does mean that something is going on, and it is very unlikely to be isp, as only educational institutes commonly block ports.
