TD trigger help

how do i get it so when a unit enter a region it will -1 from lives
also i know it has to do with a verible but which one would it be


also i need the trigger to work for 2 sides

A Unit enters region
Conditions:
Owner of unit equal to (the player(s) you use as the enemy)
Actions:
Set Lives = (Lives-1)
Game - Display text message to all players: String(Lives) + Lives left!

what would i put for the varible

the (lives) var should be set up as an interger starting at how many lives you want to have, then, have it so when a unit enters your ending rect, set the var - 1

or something like that
