Temp Rect

Is a way to make say a temperary rect at a unit to see if your hero is in it when you select that unit? Sorry if this is a little unclear...

Yes, it is. But the shouldnt it be easier to use
Math - Distance Beetwen Points and se if the hero is in the range?

Else you use Convesion - Points With Size To Region and use the location of the unit as point.

or just use unit is in region

(whatever unit) is within (how far) of (whatever unit)

Basicly, Im using this for a quest type thing.

Unit A is the quest giver,

Unit B is you.

So when Unit B walks in a 500 radius of Unit A and you select Unit A, it displays a message.

I hope that clears it up a little.

isn't there a unit within range condition? if so, why not use that?

never mind, there isn't that I can find.
if you're looking for peeps in a circle, I'd judge by distance between the 2 units, if in a rectangle, I'd do the conversion point and size to rect
