To the person who uploaded my tutorial at World Editor Tutorials:

Please re post it, since I've fixed 40 typos, even more formating mistakes and it looks a lot better now. Also, the version at WET has everything center placed ;/

Help with Cliff/Terrain Doodads

hi,
excellent job wit the tutorials....
can anyone say me how to remove cliff/terrain doodads such as Ruined Ground, Blight etc.. :banghead:cuz once i 've placed them there seems to be no way of removing them (pls don;t mention CTRL+Z cuz i have placed them when i started terraining....:shades:)...
also when i raise or lower ground near to a blight, the blight gets carried to the cliff.. Help needed

Well when you palce such doodads they stay there as cliffs or tiles. They can't be selected, only overwritten by other cliffs and tiles.

this query is on behalf of my pals who are working on a map.....
they have completed the terraining and they need to know how to use only a single hero for each player (similar to the famous DoTA,but this map is not a TD map.....:D) in the map, wen ever it is tested ,the worker units come about ... how to remove them?
(hope i got it right........:nuts:)

This is question should be posted in world editor help section, but here:

Go to the Trigger Editor (The little "a") at the top of the editor. Then delete (or modify) the trigger;

Trigger:
  • Melee Initialization
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Melee Game - Use melee time of day (for all players)
      • Melee Game - Limit Heroes to 1 per Hero-type (for all players)
      • Melee Game - Give trained Heroes a Scroll of Town Portal (for all players)
      • Melee Game - Set starting resources (for all players)
      • Melee Game - Remove creeps and critters from used start locations (for all players)
      • Melee Game - Create starting units (for all players)
      • Melee Game - Run melee AI scripts (for computer players)
      • Melee Game - Enforce victory/defeat conditions (for all players)


Or delete this:

Trigger:
  • Melee Game - Create starting units (for all players)

FML. So I thought it would be nice if I cleaned up there english in mine tutorials. Guess what? I did. Guess what? Took me two hours to rewrite it! Guess what? No more than 20 images can be posted in one post. Gave me that error and all my corrections and work vanished. meh.,,.,.,.,.,.,.
