How do i change the color on my textmsg?

Check the FAQ and look for the WC3 colorizer.

When your displaying a text message or tool tip, put the color code into the text.

Then, use |r to change the color back to regular.

Why do we always link people to the FAQ? The FAQ thread is so large that you hardly find the post you containing the link to the site you need.

Color Codes:

Green: |cff32cd32TEKST|r
Red: |cffff0000TEKST|r
Orange: |cff995500TEKST|r
Yellow: |cffffcc00TEKST|r
Light Blue: |cff7777aaTEKST|r

Color Code Explanation:

The vertical stripe introduces the color code.
The first two letters/ciphers deter the transparency. Since letters cannot be transparent, this will be ignored.
The next two letters/ciphers deter the red color tinting.
The next two letters/ciphers deter the blue color tinting.
Finally, the last two letters/ciphers deter the green color tinting.

The code is written hexadecimal. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F)

Message Colors:

Notice: Orange
New unit/ally acquired: Light blue
Hint: Green
Target error/Tooltip hotkey: Yellow
Warning: Red
