here is my newest ORPG map: The Battle for Middle Earth. it is not done yet but this is a great way to have fun. .For now only Human, Orc and Undead race can be selected. There are three camera types (switch by pressing Escape). Upgrades can be bought at the House. The pet can collect Items and Send/Teleport units to the House. To open the doors get close to them, some doors are locked until you finish a task or accept a quest. If the quest giver does not react that means he is either talking to someone and you have to wait or you do not meet the requirements. Gold drops instead of direct adding it because in that way other players can steal your prize (makes you try harder to collect it) and it vanishes after 45 seconds.
Story:
You are an adventurer who has come to Middle-Earth to find it in the middle of a war.
Sauron and his forces have destroyed and conquered almost every town searching for
The One Ring. Some cities like Argonath and Silverine have managed to
defend against Saurons evil forces but their time is short too. In the battle at Khazad Doom
Gandalf
, the great wizard was killed by the Balrog. In order to keep the advantage,
Sauron has called upon eternal darkness. Frodo, the hobbit carries The One Ring to the
volcano of Mordor to destroy it and end the war... Your goal is to find a way to bring
Gandalf back to life and find a way to help the heroes of Middle-Earth to destroy Sauron

Use the help system in quests to get knowing the map. It explains how the doors work and how to open one. No cheats guys and I mean it!!! To get a quest just look at your minimap. it will ping to a quest location so all you have to do is follow it and get close to the quest giver (the first two are a Elf called Seth and a Guard/Captain)

Im gonna try it out now. I'll edit this post in a bit.

EDIT - Just tested it out. The camera is kind of annoying yet cool at the same time. It just gets annoying when you try to turn around, but it's a cool angle.

I think the bandits might be a little overpowered but maybe that's because I was playing by myself.

The game is fun and is a good concept but maybe you could add a little more clarity. For example, instead of just flashing an image of the phoenix egg, you could have the camera pan over to it. That way people have at least a general idea of where to go.

thats why you have the map pings. About the camera: it can be changed by pressing Escape. You have 3 types of camera so you are free to do as you like. Since there are a lot of potions in the game its good to have strong enemies and bossed (2 dungeons for now). im adding more quests at this moment so it gonna be harder to pass the game etc.

v 1.22 is released. Since i found a big bug about the quest system (its in the game I swear xD) when another triggers a quest while you are in cinematics... I limited the quests. When a player enters a quest (cinematics) all other quests get disabeled until the cinematics are done.

Since i found many leaks in my map i fixed them. I implemented my own camera system (this map had an older version) and i fixed some bugs. have fun and comment on what you like or hate ingame

Version v1.30 has no bugs in the REVIVER, its quest related cinematic's can be skipped by pressing ESCAPE, the UNIT SELECTOR was fixed and new items were added in DUNGEONS

Hex bugs fixed, some abilities were changed, auras now affect all friendly units, Shadow meld removed .... in v1.32

    Actually I was just playing with having some kind of mention of the food forum and recipes on the main page to test and see if it would engage some of those people to post something. It is just weird to get so much traffic and no engagement

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
