With VLC, it only shows the first frame for 31 seconds.

With GOM Player, it works as it should. I have the K-Lite Codec Pack installed.

Also, that color scheme changing because of editors is lame =/.

I changed codec to the windows version of mpeg4 (why there is a windows version of the codec is unknown to me...). Hopefully it works for everyone now. Same url: http://phyrex1an.net/thpixel.avi

Yeah, that's better, and the lighting is definitely evident.

I think best way to do it is just by hand, once all 100 parts are in, have someone do the grunt work and create 100 images. I'll try to keep a log of which cells were filled at which times, because it may get weird if Imageshack pictures disappear, which I think they're prone to doing.

Yeah that has already happened in this thread. If you look at the video you'll see that sometimes there are two new cells in a frame.
