May or may have not been blatantly stolen from this thread.

The premise is simple, each member draws a small section of a larger image and eventualy we will have a large image made by many people.

Rules

• Each square is 50 x 50 pixels;
• No two adjacent squares can be made by the same person (horizontaly, vertically or diagonally);
• An attempt must be made to keep the image flowing;
• The final image will be 502 x 502 pixels (10 blocks by 10 blocks plus a 1px border);
• Do NOT go over someone else's square or edit anyone else's work. You may edit a square you've made but only for minor fixes. The only exception to this rule is to edit an obvious mistake out of someone's square (making their square too small, overlapping another square slightly, etc).

Tips

• You can use any program you like, but I'd recomment MSPaint, it's a simple program that anyone can use and suprisingly versatile;
• Anyone can join! Even if you have no artistic skills then come and have a go. It is a 50x50 square. The advantages of this is that, if you don't like how it turns out, someone else can build on the square next to it and turn your mess into part of something great;
• When saving your file, save it as a PNG file, that way you keep ALL of the quality and the colours and lines aren't blurred or distorted. Some image hosting sites seem to convert BMPs into JPEGs, if this happens then use http://imageshack.us instead. I use tinypic.com, but whatever floats your boat.

A GIF with all the current frames:

The change in lightning is caused by the usage of different editors. Also, the GIF might not be up to date.

When the entire grid is completed I will try to remove any artifacts caused by lossy file types and I will also make a GIF with uniform lightning, using only the squares in the final image.

There are currently 26 free spots, we're close .

Hehe, no diagonals! I made that mistake too with the subway cart, but I moved it over. Since you can't do that with yours, I'm sure no one will mind a mistake.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the stick man either, so I changed my part of it.
