Thief Gold Fatal Exception OE

While running Thief Gold for 1 to 10 minutes I have gotton either

Fatal Exception OE at 0028: C0032276

Or

Fatal Exception OE at 0177: BFF72830

I use Saitek P2500 Rumble gamepad.

The error seems to occur when I press a button , although I

think I saw the error occur when I did not do anything!!!

Could someone please tell me what these errors mean

OR show me a link that lists all of the possible OE Fatal Exception

Have you tried running the game without the gamepad to see if you still get the same error? Unplug the Gamepad and see if you still get the error and that can at least help to isolate the problem.

Thief Gold

I have run Doom with my gamepad and it worked fine!!!

Now I know it aint the gamepad!!!

Do you think there is a timing mechainism in Thief that when a

certain combination of keys are pressed in a certain amount of

time would cause this error?

I've noticed that when I load the last item I had selected appears

on the screen.

I thought that the item was supposed to dissapear after a few

seconds.

This timing mechainism may be responsible for the crash.

hmmm i had same problem with diablo 2 about 3 years ago but i was able to fix it by upgrading windows so try to upgrade your window if your using windows 2k because it was windows 2k that i had that problem
