Here is a collection of programs you can stick in to your graphing calculator, as long as it uses TI-Basic as a programming language. Honestly, I don't know any game-programming, so don't ask me. I'm just trying to get some credit for my work, and where better than thehelper with its reputation system?

Area/Circumference of a Circle
Code:
Input "Radius:",A
Disp "Area:"
Disp (3.14)A^2

Volume of a Rectangular Prism/Area of a Rectangle
Code:
Input "Length:",A
Input "Width:",B
Disp "If 2D, input 1"
Input "Height",C
Disp "Volume/Area:"
Disp LWH

Area of a Triangle
Code:
Input "Base",A
Input "Height",B
Disp "Area:"
Disp (1/2)AB

Pythagorean Theorem
Code:
Input "A:",A
Input "B:",B
Disp "Side C:"
Disp [square root symbol here, can't display in Code format](A^2+B^2

It's better to use Output() really... You can force it to be at which point you want. I really prefer a graph interface though...

NOTE: All programs listed here by me are copyrighted, 2010-3010. Private use only.

I don't think you can actually copyright Texas Instrument programing. and even if you could, I'm sure someone else already thought of the code for the area of triangle seeing as I have it on my calculator free of charge.

Either way, good stuff but no one really needs this. And by that, I mean if we really needed it, we wouldn't go to this thread to get it.

Your scripts don't have nearly enough complexity to copyright.

I wrote this one years ago in electronics. It converts any alphanumeric number system to any alphanumeric number system.
Code:
PROGRAM:ANYBASE
Lbl 1
Input "INPUT BASE: ",A
Input "TARGET BASE: ",B
"0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ" -> Str0
Lbl 2
Input Str1
If Str1="-1"
    Goto 1
"END" -> Str2
Str1 + Str2 -> Str3
inString(Str3,Str2) - 1 -> L
1 -> N
0 -> D
While N <= L
    sub(Str1,N,1) -> Str2
    inString(Str0,Str2) - 1 -> I
    D+(A^(L-N))*I -> D
    N+1 -> N
End
" " -> Str1
int(ln(D)/ln(B)) -> L
While L >= 0
    If D=0
    Then
        Str1+"0" -> Str1
    Else
       int(D/(B^L)) -> I
       D - (I*(B^L)) -> D
       Str1 + sub(Str0,(I+1),1) -> Str1
    End
    L - 1 -> L
End
Disp Str1
Goto 2

Okay, the copyright was just part of a sort of drunken joke.

But anyways, I just wanted to stick in a few of my TI Basic programs for the people who actually don't know anything about programming calculators.

Lol, people who copyright things like this make me feel funny :p

I usually create this program on any TI calculator I find.

Code:
ClrHome
while 1
Input "",A
Disp A + randInt(-2,2)
End

I also did a pong game and a maze game but those codes are HUGE.

This is a good one I came up with a while ago:
Code:
ClrHome
While 1
Input "",Str4
expr(Str4) -> U

U -> T
1 -> P
While T != int(T)
10P -> P
10T -> T
End

round(T/700,0) -> V
randInt(1,2+V)/P -> W

If randInt(0,1)=1
Then
-W -> W
End

Disp U+W
End

  • Varine Varine:
    I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
    Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
    Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
    And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
    Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
    That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
    I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
    I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
