This is my timer winow start (its run from another trigger)

Code:
Mission 1 Red Timer
    Events
    Conditions
    Actions
Hero - Make Player 1 (Red) Heroes gain 0.00% experience from future kills
Countdown Timer - Create a timer window for Mission_Red_Timer with title Time Left
Countdown Timer - Start Mission_Red_Timer as a One-shot timer that will expire in 300.00 seconds
Countdown Timer - Show (Last created timer window) for Player 1 (Red)
        Wait 300.00 seconds
Countdown Timer - Destroy (Last created timer window)

The timer starts in the top right but as soon this trigger starts spwaning units it disappears.

So pretty much as soon as a unit is spawned in the area the timer dissappears but the timer still runs you just cant see it.

Code:
Five Minutes 20 Kills Red
    Events
Time - Every 5.00 seconds of game time
    Conditions
    Actions
Unit - Create 5 Ghoul (01) for Player 12 (Brown) at (Random point in Red Spawns <gen>) facing Default building facing (270.0) degrees

Code:
        Wait 300.00 seconds
Countdown Timer - Destroy (Last created timer window)
Remove the timer window destroy function?

This will cause leaks by the way.

so putting the wait 300 seconds (5 minutes) it skips it and just destroys the timer window ?

I think yes; the countdown timer is already set to expire in 300 seconds. The Destroy function is for example: (Quest type map): "You have 300 seconds to leave the city!" Now, If unit leaves specific region before those 300 seconds, destroy last created countdown timer.

Waits aren't accurate.
Make a global real variable called ticker.

As you can tell, my GUI isn't the best. I code in Jass 100% of the time. :)
Code:
Five Minutes 20 Kills Red
    Events
Time - Every 5.00 seconds of game time
    Conditions
    Actions
if ticker == 300 then turn off(this trigger)
        destroy timer window
        skip remaining actions
Unit - Create 5 Ghoul (01) for Player 12 (Brown) at (Random point in Red Spawns <gen>) facing Default building facing (270.0) degrees
        Set ticker = ticker + 1

By the way, kc102, how can you know Jass better than GUi? GUI is silly compared to Jass, lol!

Theres this phenomenon with some Jass users. GUI becomes hard to read.

And I haven't made anything in GUI, in ages. But my code gave the basic idea, just not the exact function calls.
