World Editor Language Switcher​

An Old project that has finaly been made.

Languages Available:

• French
• English

This little tool allows to switch the language of your world editor.

Spoiler

#1 You need to download the tool (10KB).
#2 You need to download the files in the language you want (~80KB).
#3 Open the program (You need Java Runtime Environment to use the program. It's also portable on any OS.)
#4 Browse the folder where the new files are placed.
#5 Browse your warcraft III directory.
#6 Press "Proceed".
#7 Close the tool and you are done.


Since I do not have a Warcraft for each language, I need you guys to participate. I have the french version, meaning I got french files (WE in french).
If you have a warcraft III in a different language and would like to participate, upload these files into a .zip on this thread. (+rep from me for the help of course). These files can be found in you're war3.mpq file under UI/nameofthefiles.txt.

• WorldEditLicense.txt
• WorldEditStrings.txt

*There might be other files that need to be changed. I will update the tool if there are.

Theres a problem with your files. They don't work. Something is wrong with them.

Do you have an old version of warcraft?

It seems like there is currently a bug when you switch the files. If you are experiencing this problem too, just use Remover, it fixes the problem. I'm going to fix the tool as soon sa I can.

If you try the french files, do you get a hudge error when you open WE?

I found the issue! Missing TriggerStrings.txt (confirmed with EGUI). I'm going to updare the tool asap, I've re-done everything so that you can make the tool change any files to the good emplacement.

hey yo mate
i try doing this
first with french
i got almost 300 problems i was just pressing ok over and over and it wouldnt end
the i tried with the enlgish verision
same problem

now i tryed again none of them work they say like tirgger.ex or sumething

any help??

I don't mean to belittle your work but I find a language switcher, particularly from English to any other language, quite useless. Most of the world knows it and ... yeah, that's what makes it useless.
