Tower which auto cast spells?!

hi, how can i set my tower the ability to auto cast a spell to a allied unit ? the tower got no attack or something ! just 1 spell which should be casted with a delay of 5 seconds

can somebody help me ?

Look for a field in the object editor that says 'Default Active Ability' or 'Active Ability' and add that spell.

Make sure the spell has autocast already.

hmm !? okay ! i set up the Default Ability and the Default Active Ability for my tower to my spell, but i don't know how i can set autocast to active in my spell ... o_0

I don't want that the spell is always autocast active at the tower in the game, just you CAN click the spell and make it autocast aktive -_-' i think it's a very simple problem becaus almost every TD map got a tower which has autocast abilities! Or do i have to trigger this ? o_0

If you add an autocasting spell to Default Active Ability, it will do it automatically.

If its not an autocasting spell, you need a trigger.

My tower casts shockwave. It requires a trigger.

Event - Unit is attacked
Condition - Attacking unit equal to My Tower
Action: Order My Tower to shockwave (attacked unit)

Keep this trigger turned off until someone BUILDS that tower, to reduce unnessesary triggers from firing EVERY time a unit is attacked.

Works great in Ryoko TD.

okay your solution for the spellcasting attack works great ! but my tower has to cast "lighningshield" or another supporting spell! so i can't 'control' which unit gets a shield !

with your attacking solution every passing unit gets a shield ! But i prefere a tower where i can cast the spell on my own OR set the spell to autocast and then does the tower gives every passing unit the shield, too. But i want to trigger it on / off.

Now i got this trigger :
event : A Unit casts an ability
Condition : (Ability being cast) equal Charm (Autocast)
Action : Unit - Order (Triggering unit) to Orc-Schamane - 'Lightningshield' (Targeted unit)

the tower casts the autocast Charm ! But the trigger does not set the Lighningshield to the targeted unit -_-'
where is the fault ? This should be possible, or not ? o_0
