Heh heh, Blizzard is really tricky. On any map, look where it has where you can scroll up and down the map. You see this little icon in the corner? Click it and see what happens. That look familiar? It sais "Gem activated" and "Gem deactivated". Heh heh does anyone know where that is from? It's a huge mystery in Diablo 2 and when you click it about 50 times in Diablo 2 it sais "MOOOOOOOOO!". Alot of people have theories as to what this does. Some say when you click it to where it sais "MOOOOOO!" you get showered with more gems then you can poke a stick atn when you joina new game. They have connected Diablo 2 and Warcraft in a very lever way; they don't overdue it and make alot of things simliar but they keep some of the mysteries and stories in both of them. Like Wirt for example, they have the same story in both Diablo 2 and Warcraft; he rips off hi s own leg to fend off the Hell Bolvine that are in the Moo Moo Farm. The Bovine were twisted to Diablo's will and now do his bidding under The Cow King. In Diablo 2 the secret cow level or "Moo Moo Farm" was just a fun excursion for you to pawn cows while they moo at you in a humanish way. The Moo Moo's (that's what I like to call them) stand up on 2 legs and carry polearms to swing at you with while their leader, the Cow King looked the same but is lightning immune and shoots deadly sparks when you hit him. I just wanted to point this out and if anyone knows what the gem does then post here because it has been bothering me lately. Also they should put the Uber Diablo from the Diablo 2 patch into Warcraft and make him appear like a few minutes after game time in a random game. I think people would get a huge kick out of this and it would become a huge controversy just like it did in Diablo 2. I saw people sit in games for 10 waiting for Uber Diablo to come because they wanted the prized Annihulus small charm he dropped. Blizzard has a clever way of cloaking things in mystery and integrating different parts from their different games and make them very annoying in the since you HAVE TO figure them out or it'll drive you nuts. I sat in a game for five hours straight waiting for Uber Diablo to come. Amd guess what, I beat him with a level 87 barbarian with BOTD, Eth COH, and eth glitched arreats. He was the hardest fight I ever had and gave me the thrill of a lfietime. Sorry to go off topic and talk about tons of totally different things but the mysteries in Diablo 2 absolutely astound me.

In world edit if you click it enough it'll play random voices. The only thing I can really think of is that it is a tesing button, while they build this software they have to test it, and somtimes the way it is supposed to work is to slow or complicated, so they may jsut quickly link and test certain function. Afterwards they just leave it in there and make it do somthing stupid.

when the gem is activated, when you delete a unit it plays the units death animation in the editor.... and wirt never had 2 legs in the story of diablo... tristram is the diablo 1 town and wirt is a store owner where you could gamble (or buy high priced items) he has always had a peg leg. and the secret cow level is from a rumor made backin diablo days i think... then they made a cheat code for starcraft (or wc2) that is "There is no cow level" to put the rumor to sleep. then they made the level in d2. the gem in diablo 2.... i dont know

the gem makes the effects that are present in-game present in WE (ie. when you select guys it plays one of their sounds)

Uber Diablo's real name is Diablo Clone, but they call him Uber Diablo becasue he is the msot pwoerful unit in the game. Only the best characters that are veryw ell made can beat him, such as Hammer Paladins and Clerics backing up tank Barbs.

Correct. If you look in Diablo 2, the leg you use to open the portal to the Moo Moo Farm is his peg leg. The story is that Wirt was attacked by the Hell Bolvine, and ripped his own leg of to defend himself. (his good one) The leg you find in Diablo 2, is his peg leg which was dispelled from the Moo Moo Farm to Tristram.

The cheat is in Warcraft 2, and it wasn't designed to put the rumor to sleep. If you look at their other cheats, all of them were to be funny, and that was used to tease players into pondering if there is or not.

When Diablo 2 first came out, the Moo Moo Farm was a big controversy. People claimed to have gone in there and kill the poor little cows, and it teased more people into doing it.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that the gem in Diablo 2 is a teaser into the Moo Moo Farm. From some of the veteran Diablo 2 players I have talked with have talked about how it was a big event and from the looks of it, it seems it was designed to make players ponder about the Moo Moo Farm. If you want, for the veteran Blizzard players who haven't played Diablo 2 yet, I could send a few Screenshots of the Moo Moo Farm, as it is pretty much a legend to the players who haven't played in it.

Sigh, if only I would've gotten DIablo 2 when it first came out, since now the Moo Moo Farm is disregarded as a fun filled horror, but just as a training ground to do some fast leveling.

Blizzard BETTER add more things like that. What would be the best is to add Uber Diablo to Warcraft III, and make player's join ladder games just to see him. It'd probably become a bigger controversy than Uber Diablo in Diablo 2.

Uber Diablo is referred to as "The World Event". He would randomly spawn in a random game that someone made, and he would spawn at the very last boss you killed. So, if you killed Baal and Uber Diablo spawned, then he would spawn at Baal. Uber Diablo is the toughest character in Diablo 2, and not even the best characters could beat him. He's really known as DIablo Clone but people named him Uber Diablo, as uber meaning "invincible" or jus tall around a very powerful character. If you still have questions about him, look it up on www.Blizzard.com as they explain exactly what happens, how he spawns, how you can tell he is going to spawn, what it sais when he spawns, etc.

Correct, but think about how many hits they would get from this event, players would get frantic and it would be a huge controversy. If you think about it, most players lust for better items or more power, as that's EXACTLY what it's like in Diablo 2. Most players would be on for hours and hours searching for Uber Diablo (who they shouldn't have the exact same thing in Warcraft, maybe Uber Sargeras), trying to grab an enormous prize it gives out. Perhaps he should drop some sort of item or something that can only be used twice or something? YOU might think it's a stupid idea, but if you look at the people in general, it would be more positive then negative.

If you've ever played Diablo 2, you'd see what I'm saying. You don't know how many players (including myself) sat in games for more than 10 hours trying to search for Uber Diablo who wasn't even going to show up. The marvelous gem which he dropped, was searched by the many new players. It turned into just another powerful gem and it's value quickly decreased. Even now, people are still searching for Uber Diablo.

funny you should say for all the years i have been playing diablo 2... have only met with clone diablo once... very ... nice feeling to it... me friend knows which games are going to spawn diablo clone so alls i had to do was wait... unfortunetly it was way longer then i thought (2 days) anyways after two days...this message came up sojs sold i think it was the last message lol... and it finally said "Diablo walks the earth" it took me a while to find him but when i did... he give me a nice greeting saying hello and he killed me >_< had to call for backup (friend) we eventually killed him with our amazons and i got my annihilus +1 all skill 10-20 attributes... 10-20 res ... and 10% exp gained as i remember... diablo clone is very hard if u don't have a good char u will die lots i died a total of ... 20 times yes 20 times ... i think its like impossible to find him unless u have a hack program like my friend did ^^

it is a small charm conan ^^ that looks like the soul stone ... of mephy but i think its diablos ... cause he drops it i dunno... but ive seen more then 1... i have 2 programs... 1 is called maphack im sure most of u people who play have that... and i have another program called pickit very usefull for getting annihilus's lol...
