Trouble with flags

Red Team = Player 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11
Blue Team = Player 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12

I'll tell you guys what I need help with now.
I need some triggers that will perform this task:

Hero 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 picks up Red Flag.
Game Text - "Player X" has stolen the Red Team's flag.
(If the hero is on Red Team, I want it to drop the flag though.)

Hero 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 picks up Blue Flag.
Game Text - "Player X" has stolen the Blue Team's flag.
(If the hero is on Blue Team, I want it to drop the flag though.)

you could try something like this, not sure if it would work though

Event:
a unit acquires an item
Condition:
(Owner of (Triggering unit)) Equal to (Random player from (All allies of Player 1 (Red)))
item being manipulated eqaul to whateva flag
Action:
Hero - Drop (Item being manipulated) from (Triggering unit)

Do a check for the owner of triggering unit.
If any conditions are true then do actions else do actions:
If owner of (triggering unit) equal to player 1
If owner of (triggering unit) equal to player 3
etc.
Then do Actions:
Display message...

Throw in some "Else" actions, and volia!, you've got a trigger.

Edit: Nox, not sure that would work. If Player 1 picked it up, then wouldn't Random Player select either Player 1, Player 3, Player 5, etc. and check for him. If the random player turns out to be Player 3, then the function will return "False", and no message will be displayed. But, I might be wrong, it might keep trying, and I don't have time to test it.

     Item-type of (Item being Manipulated) equal to <red flag>
Actions:
     If (conditions)
          Integer((Player Number of (Owner of (Hero Manipulating Item)) / 2) equal to ((Player Number of (Owner of (Hero Manipulating Item)) / 2)
     Then (actions)
          Display...
     Else (actions)
          Order (Hero Manipulating Item) to Drop (Item Being Manipulated)

This trigger is for the red flag. For the blue flag, just change the red flag variable to blue flag and change the "equal to" in the If-Then-Else loop to "not equal to". That should work.

First, click integer, then for its input do arithmetic, then the rest is pretty self-explanatory.

Put it all in, but still the Red Team can pick up their own flags.

Is there a particular reason why your teams are 2, 4, 6, ... and 1, 3, 5, ...?
Because, if they were 1-6 and 7-12, you could test if yes or no the "player number" is less than or equal to 6.
Seems simpler than (player number) modulo 2 equal to 0 or 1

*sigh* Why to I always think of the most complicated way to do things? Anyway, AceHart is right, just change that if condition to (player number) modulo 2 equal 0 (for red flag) or 1 (for blue flag).
