The existing Doom port(that comes on the cafepress games/demos CD) runs on my N504, but rather atrociously. For some reason it doesn't want to recognize the Stealth or Warrior control pads. When it does read the logitech, it is way, way too sensitive with the analog stick. It seems to have a centering problem...you won't even be pressing anything and it will read it as stick input.
I can't seem to get a good burn of the optimized Doom port that the N-504 will read. I tried burning the optimized Doom NUON.CD file to a CD-R along with the Doom1.wad file and it seems to just freeze when I try to load it. I also tried the file "padding" method to see if that would work, but no luck either. Any ideas? Anybody have a copy of the optimized Doom already burned to a CD?
