Suggestion

I'm not part of the team, but I have an idea to share.

Give the archer a huge damage range like 1 die, 500 sides to represent arrows in a reality, more or less.

Just an idea...

EDIT: ...maybe i could join...

everyoen must remeber that angent paper is still terraining right now and not many people are helping him w/ that (i will if u would like me to unless u want to urself)

ONLY CREATE ABILITIES THAT CAN BE EASILY COPY PASTED INTO TEH MAP
it does us not much good because all units, must be copy pasted and any varriables that are used make it verry annoying to copy paste triggers. . . just a reminder to wait til u have the map to do the actual work (go a head and plann out what u need and figure it out)
that goes for units w/ special abilites, all that stuff.

By enhancing skill i mean a skill that you can enhance certain stuff in the game like som items etc.

EDIT://

I've got a great idea (i think).
Instead of using player/chat commans like -save and so on, each hero has a spell book with game commands. That would be better than having a dialog for each command, or chat commands...

sure ill fix some items.. and that with spellbooks.. just like tell me your MSN or something and send me the map

Triggers are just as easy to copy and paste.

Except that book would take up an inventory slot.

Vex has a trigger to create bigger inventory blocks. Go check it out (and comment on it)

yes, but if there is a variable in it, it will be transferd , and it will be turned off, and the place where the variable was will be empty, and cahnces are when u go bak to change the variable in it, to a new one it will make u reset the entire trigger, or atleast thats what it made me do for my leaderboard

all in all im just reminding people keep it to stuff that can be easily copy pasted

There's an option in "File / Preferences" that says "Automatically create variables" that helps there.

AgentPaper. I wouldn't go ahead and do anything if he hasn't said anything about it.

Behold, the answer to your problem, and the proof that you don't know nearly as much as you seem to want to sound like you do.

The project was started by and is fueled by Agentpaper.

I'd recommend an item instead of an ability, since I don't know if Vex's system of extra inventory works for extra abilities.

wow, thanks il admit i never knew that, (i hate variables sry)

i try and do as little work with them as possible but when i do i like to keep it simple. . .

im starting modeling, and after that im going to go ahead and learn as much jass as possible, then i wont realy need variables as much :) they just annoy me

You're going to learn JASS, but not learn variables? You can't really do anything in JASS without variables that you can't do in GUI without variables. All you can do is insert the odd bj_wantdestroygroup line (or whatever it is) here or there. At least, that's the impression I get, but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

I noticed you put "rouge" instead of "rogue" on the first post and that irritates me. Rouge is what you apply to your cheeks. It gives a delightful pinkish tinge. It's also the French word for "red". A rogue, on the other hand, is an outlaw, or a rebel, or whatever you want to call it.

Ok, someone wasn't paying attention...

You guys were talking about a way to add in game controls, in a button, without taking away 1 item slot (if it were an item) or 1 ability (if it were an ability) and I basically made the statement that Vexorian (if you don't know who this is, you suck) has made a system that allows you to have extra inventory, so if you DO want to add this, add it as an item, and use Vex's extra inventory trigger system that's probably in his Forum on this site.

I don't like that system... I don't know why, but i just dont think it's a good way.

  • No one is chatting at the moment.
  • Varine Varine:
How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air
  • The Helper The Helper:

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
