Trying to make <mass> kill code

My game produces TONS of units. It was designed that way on purpose being as it is like 4 way hero wars that technically produces 8 units every 2 seconds. As you can imagine, that will quickly add up. Also being as it is that you can upgrade troops, one side can dominate all the rest producing way over 200 units.

My question is that I need some code that will either destroy all units of a computer run player (except for one particular unit) after it reaches the 200 food limit cap, or that will stop producing units after the 200 food limit cap.

Any help would be fantastic. I will be working on it after this post.

I think if you just added
(Player 12 (Brown) Food used) Less than 200
to the conditions of your monster making trigger it should work.

the problem isn't the event commands, its the action commands I dont' know. Unit - Kill doesn't seem to work. What do I do?

oops, I didn't see the fact that you mentioned my monster creation code. I'll add the conditions. That will work fine. I just thought it would be a cool scene to see everything annhilated on the screen =P.

well I wasn't quite sure what you were looking for, but if you do want to kill many units try this
Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units owned by Player 12 (Brown)) and do (Unit - Kill (Picked unit))

well how many computer players r there?
make 2 triggers similar to this:

events-----
Player - Player 12 (Brown)'s Food cap becomes Greater than 200.00
actions----
trigger - turn off (name of trigger that spawns the units)

events---- Player - Player 12 (Brown)'s Food cap becomes less than 200.00
actions----
trigger - turn on (name of trigger that spawns the units)

my god, 8 units every 2 seconds can potentially lead to some bad lag........

potientially :-)

not necessarily :-)

lol depends on ur comp mabye u should make it 8 units every 30 seconds and make the players units/heros weaker than they r alrdy. but still there is the trigger code up there on how to stop it.

this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I changed the settings a bit.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Narrowed it to 7 days for the half-life and set views to 0 weight.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I dont think Trending would work for this forum it would be better to just have the last 5 posts from anywhere
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably will have to give it some time to update.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I'm guessing it is not retroactive.

One thing I have noticed and I dont know if it is by design but like 1 out of 3 times I come to the site the Anubis screen just hangs open, if I refresh it will go away but sometimes it hangs
  • Ghan Ghan:
    I've seen that as well.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
  • The Helper The Helper:

Weekend went by too fast. Next weekend I am going to try to do a nature thing - buddy of mine lives by the Colorado river and has some kayaks and invited me to do some kayaking from a place he knows to get on the river.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    That sounds like an adventure.
