Trying to refrain from deswtryhoing the house...I hate this friggin thing

OH MY GOD I HATE WORLD EDITOR. I friggin got this morning, was going to get on World Editor and work on my map, then I got this nice, little message saying my level info data was missing or invalid. I haven't done anything to it since yesterday, and I tryed to restore my computer to yesterday so it would undo any friggin thing something did to it, but luckily for me, it didn't work. Now I'm stuck with a messed up I cannot get into, and I am sure loving it. GOD DARNIT I HATE WORLD EDITOR! What should I do???

Ahh good, this isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I know exactly where everything goes and how to do everything, so alot of it will just be doing stuff instead of making it and testing it taking hours and hours of work. I should have it salvaged by tomorrow. O well, no reason to get mad, it won't bring back my map...

periodically export all the trigger data, etc. that way you dont have to remake *everything*

Ah, *wipes head* I was able to Salvage the trigger data and Object data, as I rememebred I exported them not to long ago. Just lost a few things.

Did you ever use the Test Map function? If so, it'll be saved under Warcraft III\Maps\Test\WorldEditTestMap.w3x

I save my maps as 001 ,002, etcetera. every time I make a nasty change.

When all else fails, I roll back a version. I think were on 023 now.

Its a habbit I picked up from work - and it works well.

Hehe Darg, I KNOW that's not targeted towards me becasue you wuv me right? Hehe, don't worry I got back almost all of the data because I DID back it up when I exported my data after another one of my maps crashed (wich was a failure anyways).
