lol, your names the helper? geez, you dont do a damn thing, i dont care about you closing this thread or blocking my ip or anything like that, these forums kinda suck, anyway, back to my point, i saw this guy who lost his cd key asking for help, and you just assume he's commiting piracy and close the thread? damn, i hate people like you who ruin the online community with false assumptions and even more false senses of superiority, its a damn shame, i lost my cd key too, and i PAID MONEY FOR THE GAME (see, thats not called piracy, dumb fxck) anywho, you should really be ashamed for closing that thread, it was rather rude of you, lol, i dont know, i just found it searching on google, and it really pissed me off how you did that, for shame!
 
problem is the large ammount of leechers who want tobe on a free ride .. they are destroying the community ..

i dunno wich thread your reffering too but i assume it was vallid .
and if the guy had still the game installed he could have used the cd key grabber .
if that was not the case then he/she should have contacted the company in question .

either be a man and admitt you lost it yourself and buy another copy or contact the company who made it and see what they can do for you ...

Obtaining a CD-key for a game without paying for it is piracy, and it should be common sense that on most forums, asking for CD-keys, cracks and such is a no-no. The CD-key that is given to you might be in use by someone else, and essentially you're stealing their CD-key. As a matter of fact, the CD-key might be in use by multiple people due to it being passed around and one day, you might try to connect to Battle.net with it and discover that it has been disabled, either due to someone using hacks while connected with the key or the original owner contacting Blizzard to get it disabled.

If you've lost your CD-key for a Blizzard game, simply go here and follow the instructions to get a new one, I don't think you'll be "given the run-around":

These forums are a good resource for help with technical problems, and The Helper is a former Battle.net forum MVP that people can trust for good advice. He hasn't "ruined the online community" at all; it's moronic trolls like you that ruin it.

It's your fault that you lost your CD-key, and there are consequences as a result of losing it. It is rude to come to a forum like this and ask for a free CD-key, as you ARE committing a form of piracy by getting it without paying for it.

I'm assuming that your definition of an "asshole robot" is someone who sticks to the rules; Wargasm is a person like you and me, just a person who thinks it's inappropriate to ask for a free CD-key. You're not "fucked" if you have your game manual, just send in the $10 bucks and the manual to Blizzard and you're set!

I really shouldn't be responding to this, but what makes me sick is foul-mouthed, bad-mannered morons who come to nice forums like these. I hope you don't get that CD-key you want, as you've really gone about the wrong way of getting it.

    this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
