turning with keyboard

i have made it so when i press then up arrow key my hero will walk forward in the direction he is facing. what i cant do is make it so when i press left or right he starts to turn in that direction

Keyboarding events are very common, try the forum search (Under 'Welcome, <Name>' in top right it says Search V)

Also there is info in the free trigger code

You should set a boolean variable, labeled 'LeftKeyHeld' (Indexes for many players). When you first press the button, set it to true then run a trigger like this:

Unit - Make Unit Face Angle:

Events <Fired from seperate trigger>
Conditions LeftKeyHeld equal to true
Actions
Unit - Make <your unit> face ((Facing of (Triggering unit)) - 10.00) over 0.20 seconds
wait .2 seconds
Run (This trigger) checking conditions

That would be better, because it wonts top untill you release (Note: you will need a release trigger to set it back to false)

Need one for the opposite to.. and yea dont make new threads... just dont want to see missing stuff in an arrow key game

wat is the triiger use for

is that make unit issue order targeting a point or wat
