Two important questions!! please help!!

Question 1:
i'm making a TD and i want to show how many lives each player has left in the top right corner but i dont know how..

Question 2:
How do u change the amount of gold you get by killing a unit and how do you show the gold you just got above the unit. Eg +50 above an alcolyte you just killed

to show lives make a leaderboard and put in triggers to update it when you lose lives, check out the leaderboard tutorial, its not that hard actually

there is an option to change bounty in the unit data
stats-gold bounty awarded-base, and im pretty sure that it will show as long as yo uget bounty, remeber to make a trigger to turn on bounty for all players

Use a leaderboard or a multiboard
There are plenty of tutorials about both topics all around TH

Edit it at Object editor
Every unit has a value for Bounty
If you want that player units give bounty to their killers, use
Player - Set bounty flag On for (Player)
At map initialization for every player you want to give bounty
Neutral players has bounty ON by default

Question 1

Make a variable keeping track of your Lifes

For example
Trigger no.1

Untitled Trigger 001
    Events
        Unit - A unit enters (Current camera bounds)
    Conditions
        (Owner of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Player 12 (Brown)
    Actions
        If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
            If - Conditions
                Lifes Greater than 0
            Then - Actions
                Set Lifes = (Lifes - 1)
            Else - Actions
                Game - Defeat Player 1 (Red) with the message: You Lost!!!

note : in this case Lifes has a original value of 30 and the type of the variable is Integer
also observe that in this case Player 12(Brown) is the evil computer
and also observe that in this case Lifes is the variable assigned to Player 1.. So if its a multiplayer TD you need many regions and variables.. ( just duplicate these)




now over to the trigger displaying the Lifes i will use a LeaderBoard but it is possible to use a MultiBoard too

    Actions
        Leaderboard - Create a leaderboard for Player Group - Player 1 (Red) titled Your Lifes
        Set LeaderBoardLifesp1 = (Last created leaderboard)
        Leaderboard - Add Player 1 (Red) to LeaderBoardLifesp1 with label Lifes:     and value Lifes
        Leaderboard - Show LeaderBoardLifesp1

you can also make 1 LeaderBoard for all players if you want that just ask me
