Animation is late but the tauren's animations aren't that great. I would rather have him use attack 2 the whole way, making it look like he thrusts his axe and he slides quickly across pushing back units in his way.

One being that he only glides over the ground, not walks.

Acutally, I'm using the 'run' animation. Try activating the ability and click and hold the hero's image (so the camera follows), and you should see it.

I'll change it to attack 2 the whole way then.

i think the problem is rather, that he plays it, but it is reset every time he is moved. So i guess we have to find out how to prevent it from resetting :p

I think wellwish3r is right, even though I clearly see the animation when I try it. I am trying to work around it as we speak...

Any suggestions/ideas will be well received :D

Maybe If you pause the unit before moving? Or only ordering it to play the animation when the spell starts, not everytime it is moved.

EDIT: Ill check out some random charge spell submission sec xD

Well this one has the unit play the run animation properly, but all it does it set the animation to run in the beginning, but maybe you see something i don't, anyways check it out^^

Problem with that is the unit is a blood mage. He has a much smoother and better animation.

Well but even so, the animation shouldn't be entire missing, maybe sort of weird looking, but at least it should be there. And have you tried using the Bloodef Mage model instead of cairne?

He is probably playing the 'walk' animation, and before he sets it, he does this:

JASS:
call SetUnitTimeScale(data.dummy, 200 * 0.01)


which is why it moves so fast. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case since the Tauren Warrior is supposed to play the 'attack 2' animation. I'm trying to experiment with SetUnitTimeScale(...) as well.

EDIT: I noticed he plays the War Stomp-like animation to begin with. Removing it might solve the problem. I'll try with that model later on.

Ok hope the animation works out. And Wellshir, were using the Carine model cause the tauren will have this animation. Maybe if we get a better model for a tauren, we could m=use his animation which will work much better hopefully. At the moment, we will be using the Carine Model with a cool custom skin which makes him look much better.

i just meant test it with the bloodelf mage, to see if its simply the model, or something with the code^^

Well try without and see how he turns out. If it looks bad, well stick with the totems. But the weapon won't be added 100% cause we will have different visible weapons for items.

Battle Rage is done, but I need a function like SetDamage to add the bonus damage of the spell.

@ wellwish3r: I noticed that the 'damage' variable in the struct is not used anywhere in CS Main Melee. I dont know if you want to change it yourself, since it is your system :p but either you should delete it or make a SetStr var since strength determines damage.

Meanwhile I'll continue improving Battle Charge. Also, are we gonna use the SpellText library, if not I should probably not continue using it ;)

EDIT: It uses TimerUtils (blue flavor) btw

Yea, we could use the show spell text. Use timer utils, its much simpler to do. I haven't done anything yesterday cause it was Canada Day so I was all over the place but I will terrain some more today.

Yeah, I havent done that much myself, since I've been busy for a while. I have modified the spell text library though. I removed functions that were not going to be used and made some minor tweaks. Other than that, I'm back to getting the Charge to work. I have a few interesting ideas I'll try :thup:

Feel free to throw some more spells/work my way!

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
