underclocking k6-2

I have tried everything to resolve this unhandled exception problem and yes I also have a k6-2 550mhz cpu. The only thing I haven't done is underclock it but I have looked in my bios for anything related to FSB but nothing is there.

Does anyone know how I can underclock?

I have looked for various utilities that allow me to change FSB and none of them had support for my FIC VA-503+ motherboard...

Check your motherboard manual; the procedure will vary depending on if the mobo has jumpers or not. If it's jumpered, then you'll have to change a jumper setting; find the current setting and change it to the next lower setting. If it's jumperless you'll have to change a setting in your bios. To find the exact changes to make, you'll have to consult your mobo manual. Just don't change anything unless you're sure it's correct, as incorrect changes can damage your hardware.
