Unholy Spirit Ability

Im creating an ability called Unholy Spirit that I am unsure of how to make. I want an Unholy Spirit (I already made the unit) to move from the caster to the target of ability being cast (that part of the trigger is easy) and resurrect all dead units within a range of 400 from its path.

Im creating an ability called Unholy Spirit that I am unsure of how to make. I want an Unholy Spirit (I already made the unit) to move from the caster to the target of ability being cast (that part of the trigger is easy) and resurrect all dead units within a range of 400 from its path.

event: unit begins the effect an ability

condition: ability being cast equal to unholy spirit

action: create 1 unholy spirit for owner of casting unit at position of casting unit
set udg_unholy_spirit_unit = last created unit
order unholy_spirit_unit to move to target of ability being cast.

the rest of this code is dependant on the unholy spirit's move speed and casting range of the spell and if the target can keep moving while the unholy spirit is moving to it and draw it out over a long distance, but basically every x seconds you created a dummy unit with the revive spell and order it to cast revive. x = 400 divided by the unholy spirit's movement speed. and the dummy unit's revive spell should have 400 range.

this is just the most basic way i could think of. you can change things to make it look more how you wanted

Blade.dk has made a swirl template spell that does jsut this, or can be made to

basicaly it shoots out what ever model you want, and you can make it move just about however you want, wehther it be swirls, jagged, or straight forward, then every unit it goes through(either ally or enemy) you can have it cast resurect on

sry i only knew the trigger part... didnt mean to quote the whole thing
